Streetspin

Making spinning rims affordable-ish.

After Davin had firmly established themselves amongst the custom car elites, it became apparent that a market for their style of bravado is wanted on less Bentleys and more Hondas. Enter Streetspin. Since these are rims, highly targeted to the customization crowd of blinged out rides, each part of the rim purchased was basically a blank. The customer could then match the exact paint from their whip, along with complementary colors.

To get this idea across, we decided to make the entire site customizable. At the time, the loading sequence, was a considerable feat to overcome, especially since most people had dialup modems. While the site loaded all the heavy content, our loader would serve as a 3-step “site customizer.” I also may or may not have used a video game to make a short bumper for the Streetspin line announcement.
