Salt & Pepper
Who gave this guy a camera?
Every night living in Philly, working at 160over 90, I would generally walk or bike home after 8-ish o’clock. This was the routine. Part of that routine was walking past a small 20 seat BYOB. At least 2-3 night a week I would walk directly into said BYOB usually with a 6-pack of something in hand. Inside I would meet Robert. Robert was a server tuned restauranteur who always had an eye for food. I’d pass him and chef some beers, chef would cook up something amazing he had shopped earlier that day in the Italian market, and I would get a bite in before turning the last block towards home. To this day, these people and these moments were my favorite part of Philly, and it’s something I fear can never be replicated. That being said, when he went to open a larger place a couple blocks south, I wanted to help any way I could. So photos and logos it is. Seriously the only time I’ll list a photo project. Sorry not sorry.
