Retail systems are more involved than you think.

How shoppers take in a space and are navigated through a retail experience is a fascinating study on details. Brands spend millions on the perfect smells, sounds, materials and fabrication all the way down to the size label just to make sure you, the User, has a seamless experience getting the object your are now subconsciously holding straight to the cash register.

American Eagle wanted to play with how their jeans present themselves on displays. Whether they are folded, hung or strewn about, the goal is to make your ideal fitting jeans readily apparent. Each designer on the team was given a chance to play.
