Turkey for me, turkey for you.
Concepted by TBWA/Chiat/Day back in 2001 and developed by lucidCirus, this Shadybrook Farms microsite was taking a humorous approach to getting people to eat more poultry and less beef. Complete with Dotcom Era eCards and a Macromedia Flash driven mini game, the Turkey Facilitators was basically a small guerrilla swat team that drove around in a hummer educating people about the benefits of ground turkey, and maybe chucking a few packages of it at them in the process. There were commercial spots, print material and tons of other campaign materials set to go. Ready to jump out of the bushes and surprise suburban America, then 9/11 happened and it all seemed like a really bad idea.
So what you see here never actually launched. I often picture it showing in third world countries by people wearing 4 time Superbowl Champion Buffalo Bills t-shirts.
