Home is where the start is.

This little experiment started as an infographic tracking all the places I have lived. Being from a divided home, I was incredibly curious to see just how many addresses I have had, and wondered if this fed into my “renters” mentality of being nomadic. I had this on a linear progression, with the length of each block representing time I’ve spent in each location. The single color lines represent the sex of the roommates I had at each, and the width of the block represents the cost of living there (pre 18 years of age doesn’t follow this rule). The end result was kind of boring, so I added the traffic patterns of traveling to my hometown and where my family lives now, then proceeded to bend the timeline accordingly to go from birthplace to current location. Then it just stopped being information based and just started being a nice little depiction of New Jersey. So I’ll leave it at that.
